Quality Management

Since 2018, Silvatech has implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001:2015, in order to ensure and improve the operation of the facility, optimize its technical processes, and maximize partner satisfaction.

Since September 2024, the Silvatech facility has been certified under the ISO 9001:2015 standard, confirming that it follows a dynamic of “continuous quality improvement” through a process-based approach.

The European Standard EN ISO 9001:2015 has the status of a French standard and specifies the requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

  • must demonstrate its ability to consistently provide a product or service that meets customer requirements as well as applicable legal and regulatory requirements; and
  • aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for system improvement and assurance of compliance with customer and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

To achieve this, the facility is mapped into processes and driven by identified process pilotes. Below you will find a simplified process map:

The process map has become our communication tool as it helps to understand the internal organization of the Silvatech facility, including its inputs and outputs (partner requests and satisfaction), and its three central pillars:

  • an operational process, which is at the core of activities;
  • support processes, which provide the necessary resources;
  • management/steering processes, which plan actions and drive improvements of the facility to achieve its objectives.

These main objectives and orientations are defined by management in the quality policy according to the chosen organization and summarized in the process map.

Today, the facility’s QMS includes a set of documents for descriptions and monitoring. This management system is crucial for Silvatech as it ensures the embedding of good practices into operations, meets client expectations, and allows new staff to be onboarded under optimal conditions. Silvatech is an organized system where quality is embedded at various levels (Safety, Equipment, Reception, etc.), thereby ensuring the efficiency of our services.
